Aroma Cafe & Kitchen – Keymer Expansion
We were proud to help Aroma Café & Kitchen grow into their neighbouring unit, formerly a barber shop, after outgrowing their original space.
Our team removed several 12-inch solid walls to connect the new and existing areas—opening up the main restaurant space, creating access to the existing loo, and linking through to the kitchen so service can now run smoothly across both sides. We also built a brand new second toilet area to support the increased customer flow.
We reused as much of the original reclaimed cladding as possible and added new cladding behind and onto a completely new counter area, reusing the original display fridge in its new home. Solid oak worktops were installed throughout the new serving area to add warmth and quality.
Since the main work was completed, we’ve returned to build a bespoke cabinet to keep day-to-day bits and cleaning items neatly out of sight.
And… we’ve been invited back once again for another feature addition—but that part’s under wraps for now!
