Grey Indian Sandstone Patio
A timeless, durable finish with natural character - West Sussex
This sleek, spacious patio was laid using grey Indian sandstone slabs, chosen for their subtle tonal variation and timeless appeal. The natural stone brings texture and depth to the space while maintaining a clean, modern look that complements the red brick of the house.
We used ProJoint RapidFlow jointing compound to ensure clean, durable lines between each slab; ideal for drainage and long-term performance.
To elevate the finish further, decorative white stones were added along the fenceline. These not only soften the edge visually but also create a practical buffer that helps with drainage and keeps the patio looking clean and well-defined.

Raised Timber Decking – The Thatched Inn.
Thoughtful design, countryside views, and a place to savour the moment - Hassocks, West Sussex.
This expansive raised decking area was designed and built for The Thatched Inn, Hassocks, to create a dedicated, accessible outdoor space for guests to relax, dine, and enjoy the countryside views.
Constructed entirely from treated softwood, the project features a large open deck with integrated seating, timber balustrades for safety and style, and thoughtful zoning to accommodate both dining and casual seating areas. Anti-slip inserts have been built into the decking boards to provide additional grip and reassurance underfoot — ideal for a busy hospitality environment in all weathers.

A gated entrance connects the deck directly to the car park, complete with a gently sloped access ramp to ensure ease of entry for wheelchair users, pushchairs, and those with limited mobility.
The perimeter fencing offers privacy and wind protection without sacrificing visibility or connection to the surrounding landscape. Built to handle high footfall, every detail was considered for longevity, low maintenance, and comfort. Whether it’s sunny afternoon drinks or evening meals under the sky, this space now feels like a natural extension of the pub itself.
